Chinese/japonese tea ceremony takes the “Four Truths” (四谛) as its general principle - harmony/peace (和) , respect (敬), tranquillity (静) silence(寂) The authors of the conceptual formula are Murata Zhuguang 村田珠光 and Sen no Rikyu 千利休.
