Upload your pet photo to create a one-of-a-kind custom mug. Instructions - click "personalize this template" then replace placeholder with your photo (upload image) Then click "edit using design tool" and then "remove background". It's easiest to do this on a computer rather than small phone screen. Please use a photo that doesn't have a detailed or complicated background and has plenty of space around the image. Horizontal or square image works the best (vertical photo will get cut off). If one image doesn't work, try another. Or you can remove the background prior to uploading your photo - there are many online apps that can easily remove the background. I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
