You are my Moon Card

"You are my Moon" is a cute love card. It is perfect to express love for your partner or child. The meaning of the Japanese Kanji is: "The moon is beautiful, isn't it?" Behind this Japanese love slogan is a story: when the writer Souseki Natsume worked as an English teacher, one of his students translated the English phrase "I love you" with 我 君 を 愛 す (ware kimi o aisu). Soseki pointed out that Japanese do not 愛 す ("love") say, and that the best translation would actually 月 が 綺 で pay / tsuki ga kirei desune (the moon is beautiful, isn't it?).
