Yellowstone Bus Crosses the Fishing Bridge Poster

Yellowstone Bus Crosses the Fishing Bridge Poster

"A yellow Yellowstone bus crosses Fishing Bridge in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming" by Catherine Sherman A fleet of eight vintage White Motor Co. buses ferry visitors on guided wildlife-watching tours, photo safaris, sunset tours, and other sightseeing adventures. The distinctive antique yellow vehicles have retractable canvas roofs and panoramic windows so that tourists can better see and photograph the magnificent scenery and wildlife. At the height of their popularity within Yellowstone in the mid-1920s, more than 400 of the vehicles operated in the park. “Yellowstone had the second largest bus fleet in the country in the mid-20s, second only to Greyhound,” according to a Yellowstone National Park concessionaire. The original fishing bridge was built in 1902, according to the National Park Service website. The bridge was a rough-hewn corduroy log bridge with a slightly different alignment than the current bridge. The existing bridge was built in 1937. "Fishing Bridge was historically a tremendously popular place to fish. Angling from the bridge was quite good, due to the fact that it was a major spawning area for cutthroat trout. However, because of the decline of the cutthroat population (in part, a result of this practice), the bridge was closed to fishing in 1973."

My Bible verse postcard, turned out excellent. I love it and have it already framed. It was so reasonably priced for something done so well. Thank you to Zazzle and the artist! I thought it looked exactly like what I ordered. Perfect.

Poster is printed clearly, good quality . Inclusive of many prints . The shipping was the problem. Box was flimsy and item got bent.. only suggestion would have been to put in a canister or mark fragile. Printing was exactly as shown
