Year of the Snake. Mi ikenohata (Year of the snake: Ikenohada). Beautiful Japanese Print Postcards. Print shows Japanese kanji and the full length image of a woman, standing outside a building, wearing kimono and geta, with view of village connected by a bridge in the background. Image is patterned with blossoms. From the series: Ichiyōren mitate edo meisho mitate jūnishi : Famous sites of Edo corresponded to animals of the zodiac from the Kyoka Circle Ichiyo. This poster has been beautifully restored and enhanced by us at Vintage East from a Japanese Woodcut Print circa 1800. We have also added a complimentary border around the image which really makes it an eye catching work of art. We also have this vintage poster on other products too!
