Unalaska Island was the centre of the Campaign of the Aleutians. Fort Swatzka was built on Ulakta Head, which is the north end of Ballyhoo Mountain in Dutch Harbour, Alaska. This lookout bunker was built right into the cliffside to provide a watch station facing the entrance to Unalaska Bay.
