Work Projects Administration (WPA) posters were produced between 1936 - 1943 designed to promote and publicize the arts. The versions available in Prawny Vintage Store have been enhanced to make the colours more striking and also some small removal of scratches where necessary. This is a vibrant stylised illustration of a ladies hand taking a piece of fruit from a fruit bowl with the words BALANCED DIET - FOR THE EXPECTANT MOTHER - INQUIRE AT THE HEALTH BUREAU. This poster was designed in New York 1936-39 originally on board using silkscreen printing. Image available on various gifts and products.
