He described the first as a study from nature "more coloured with more solemn tones" and the second as a studio rendition in a "very discreet range" of colours. This painting , the most resolved and stylized of the three, was intended for his sister and mother- Metropolitan Museum

The shipping was the problem. Box was flimsy and item got bent.. only suggestion would have been to put in a canister or mark fragile. Printing was exactly as shown
