Woman with a Pearl Necklace in a Loge (1879) by American impressionist artist Mary Cassatt. The original fine art piece is an oil on canvas. The painting shows a woman in a beautiful pink dress and pearl necklace, seated in a theatre loge with the balconies of the Paris Opéra House reflected in the mirror behind her. Cassatt created a series of theatre scenes in the late 1870s, displaying an interest in city nightlife shared by many of the Impressionists.
