William Morris Vintage “Trellis” Pattern Throw Pillow

This is a digitally enhanced print derived from an antique 1864 block printed wallpaper “Trellis” pattern designed by William Morris. It features a wooden trellis with climbing roses and birds hunting insects. William Morris was a Victorian era poet, novelist, textile designer and an important figure of the British Arts and Crafts Movement. His designs had a medieval-inspired aesthetic and respect for hand-craftsmanship and traditional textile arts. He was the founding figure of Morris & Co., and Kelmscott Press. He was close friends to many Pre-Raphaelite artists such as Edward Burne-Jones and Dante Gabriel Rossetti. You can customize the size of the pattern.
