William Morris Vintage Honeysuckle Pattern Coffee Mug

This is a digitally enhanced print derived from an antique 1883 block printed Honeysuckle floral pattern designed by William Morris. William Morris was a Victorian era poet, novelist, textile designer and an important figure of the British Arts and Crafts Movement. His designs had a medieval-inspired aesthetic and respect for hand-craftsmanship and traditional textile arts. He was the founding figure of Morris & Co., and Kelmscott Press. He was close friends to many Pre-Raphaelite artists such as Edward Burne-Jones and Dante Gabriel Rossetti. You can customize the size of the pattern. Although the default background colour is derived from the original design, you can customize this colour to fit your decor.

I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
