William Morris Cray Wallpaper Pattern Stone Coaster

The Cray design is one of William Morris's classic wallpapers from the 1800s. It is detailed in rich blues and reds. It was designed in 1884 and was one of the more popular wallpapers that hung in Victorian homes. William Morris was England's most famous nineteenth century textile designer. Morris' wallpapers showed his love of nature, which was the focus of all of his designs, and was a member of the arts and crafts movement. Custom sizing to an exact square allowed me to frame the photo perfectly for the ceramic coaster. There were all kinds of editing options for the images. Very fun to do and they look awesome. I made them as a gift but got a few doubly made for me! Really well done. I wanted the images dark with low contrast and saturated colours and they came out exactly as I hoped!
