This tapestry is called "Wild Woman With Unicorn." It is either German or Swiss and was created in the mid 1400s. It is extremely unusual, for it varies from the pure virgin image of the maiden whom, according to legend, is the only one who can tame the wild Unicorn. In this image, a wild woman is presented with her breasts showing. She has furry hands and feet. Only a fragment of the original exists but it is meticulously woven. It's my impression that the young woman shown here is another aspect of the wild Unicorn. This image is truly a treasure! "Wild Woman With Unicorn" ("Wildweibchen mit Einhorn")

I am glad that they came so quickly. The design was /is AMAZING! I love them ... folks were grabbing theirs immediately before the day because they believe they will go quickly. I love both sizes but the square one was unique and I misjudged the size on the round ones but still happy with how they turned out. AMAZING! The design was great. The printing was good.
