Wild Dogs Postcard

African Wild Dogs nature photo postcard features a beautiful photograph of two African wild dog puppies taken by Kurt Keller with a 35 mm camera in the early morning hours on an African safari in Botswana in winter. This was a rare treat since this is a rare species. The adults in the wild dog pack had just come back from a hunt and were feeding these adorable wild dog puppies. Wild dogs are usually on the move over a very large range, covering 900 square miles in the Serengeti. After a litter is born, however, they will limit their travelling and hunting to areas closer to the den.
