Wild Carrot Tote
This illustration of a wild carrot (Staphylinos Agrios) is taken from the Vienna Dioscorides. The Greek manuscript of botanical remedies and assorted zoological texts, created ca. 515 CE, was given to the Byzantine princess Anicia Juliana in thanks for her patronage of a church in the suburbs of Constantinople. Although labelled as a wild carrot, the species in question actually seems to be an early variety of domesticated carrot.

This is a great quality bag. I initially got it for groceries, but now also use it for day-to-day errands.
