White is a colour. I got started too late photographing this year to get pictures of snow.
On a forest walk on a recent morning the white, paper birch trees were standing out from the aspen and spruce with the sun low and direct on the trunks. Some distant shots I took emphasize the contrast with the other trunks, and this close up captures just the birch bark.

If you wish you can edit this image to perhaps add a name or overlay another image, a birch group?. Hmmm, that sounds like something I will try next.

The cards are nice, smaller than I thought, and they came mis printed in my opinion. The one side of it had a white line down the photo and therefore set the writing off centre on the back. I wanted to return but I already waited for them and want these sent out for my wedding thank you, so I’m dealing with it.
. The card printed a line and through the entire thing off centre, not happy but need to send them out so cannot reorder
Also the print has it so you flip over and it’s upside down, it logically doesn’t make sense to flip up and down instead of left to right or right to left.
