Wedgwood Birth of Jesus Sepia Antique Reproduction Tile
From Wedgwood's Life of Jesus series of tiles, this sepia transferware tile shows the shepherds visiting the infant Jesus as he lies in the manger. This is an unusual depiction of the Nativity, as Mary actually appears to have recently given birth. She lies next to her Son while Joseph supports her upper body as she gazes on the infant and prays with the shepherds. We have shown this as the 4.5 inch tile, but it is also available in 6 inches. Makes a wonderful gift for Christmas or the birth or baptism of a Christian child. It can be used as a wall tile or framed or made into a keepsake box or other items.
