Women’s rights were forged from steel during World War II by Rosie the Riveter, pictured in J. Howard Miller’s “We Can Do It!” While men were at war, six million women replaced them at industrial plants. Creating a poster for Westinghouse, Rosie’s iconic feminist image appeared on magazines, newspapers and posters, and helped increase women’s earning power and acceptance into male-dominated trades.

I have purchased several mugs from Zazzle and this particular Zazzle store. This mug was a big disappointment. The image placement on the mug I received was not the same as shown here. The image on both sides has faded with every dishwasher cycle!

I ordered these with interiors of yellow, red, maroon, pink, navy blue, and light blue. Note that the navy blue is VERY dark and looks black in some lighting. The mugs have survived 10 months of use so far! My friends were all very happy with them. Print turned out very clear. Colours were accurate. Thank you!
