Green colorway. Our Wave Warrior Hawaiian Primitive Tapa was inspired by the vintage aloha shirts of the forties and fifties. This abstract tapa design was inspired by the early Polynesian settlers of the Hawaiian islands. They made cloth from the bark of the mulberry tree and then decorated it by rubbing and stamping patterns using tools made from coconut shells.
