watercolor of Boxer & inspirational message & news report from Paradise, CA fire emphasizing how "when the world seems heavy, look for the good & keep showing up". this message came out Nov.2018, after Paradise, CA burnt completely down. a hopeful practical response to horrific events over which people had no power. i painted the juxtaposition of a Boxer pup [because we are hooked on Boxers & now Boxer-mixes x 30 yrs] holding essential plumbing tool & inspirational inside page story about good deeds in the midst of awful events. fits my weirdo sense of humour [Boxer & plunger], my push forward personality & mush-heart approach to life and horribl events beyond our control. Don't sit there wringing your hands. Go do something practical & helpful. Keep showing up.
