Washington Crossing the Delaware - 1851 Postcard

This design is of the famous 1851 painting by Emanuel Leutze, Washington Crossing the Delaware. Some may question the fact that there was ice in the Delaware river in this painting, but this event took place during the Little Ice Age, and the river actually did freeze regularly at the time.
