My husband and I took a boat around the Hawaiian Islands in 2014, and took some wonderful excursions on the islands, including a visit to Waimea Canyon on the western side of Kauai. The canyon is 10 miles long and runs as deep as 3000 ft in some places. It is referred to as "The Grand Canyon of the Pacific" and it is easy to see why! A beautiful sight. Copyright Bayview Images.
