It is amazing how certain colors and imagery can evoke such strong feelings and stir up memories or longings. The vibrant flamingo and turquoise waters are such examples. I painted 'Wading in the Shallows' with gouache paint - a medium similar to watercolour but able to give an opaquer appearance. I hope this image brings a sense of relaxation, warmth and joy to you.
