Vintage Winslow Homer Camp Fire Postcard

Incorporated in the design on this product is a beautiful reproduction of "Camp Fire" an 1880 oil on canvas painting created by Winslow Homer (1836 - 1910). Best known for his marine subjects, Winslow Homer was an American landscape painter and print-maker who was largely self-taught. Homer began his career working as a commercial illustrator but later took up oil painting; he also worked extensively in watercolor.
