Vintage William Morris Wandle Pattern Stone Coaster

The embellishment on this product is inspired by Wandle, a William Morris pattern created in 1884. Morris named the pattern in honour of River Wandle, a tributary of the River Thames in south London, which passed by his Merton Abbey workshop and was very helpful in the dyeing process used to bring his designs to life.

Custom sizing to an exact square allowed me to frame the photo perfectly for the ceramic coaster. There were all kinds of editing options for the images. Very fun to do and they look awesome. I made them as a gift but got a few doubly made for me! Really well done. I wanted the images dark with low contrast and saturated colours and they came out exactly as I hoped!
