This design incorporates a beautiful print of "Artichoke" a wallpaper designed in 1897 by John Henry Dearle (1859 - 1932). Dearle was a British textile and stained-glass designer trained by the talented artist and craftsman William Morris (1834 – 1896) who was greatly influenced by the Pre-Raphelite Brotherhood.
