Vintage Wedding Cat Postcard

This beautiful vintage cat card is based on a British postcard design by the artist GL Barnes dating from around the early 1900's. The illustration is of a young female cat dressed in a very grand wedding gown complete with floating white veil. Her head dress has little yellow and white flowers and she wears an angel necklace. The tabby cat's wedding gown is trimmed with a gilt floral brocade. Our nervous bride with brilliant gren eyes is shown against a blue sky background that has an almost heavenly light. The card would be perfect for lovers of vintage cat art, cat owners and brides to be! Postcards are perfect for framing and are a cheap and chic alternative to more expensive poster prints.
