Vintage - Valentine's Day is a Gas, Holiday Card
A vintage "Vinegar Valentine" depicts a man sleeping in bed while his dog is standing on the bed passing gas, his rear end facing toward the man's face. The man dreams of stinky Limburger cheese as he takes a whiff of the foul odour. The front of the card says "Best Valentine Greetings from One Who Cares." The message inside the card is, "Hope your Valentine's Day is a gas!" Vinegar Valentines were enjoyed in the late 1890s to the 1940s and were a way of sending an insulting greeting to someone you don't like or someone you want to have fun teasing.
