Vintage Tapis d’Orient Poster
The original full-size poster was created by René Louis Péan, in the 1890’s, to advertise
Oriental rugs at the Aux Trois Quartiers on the grand Boulevard de la Madeleine in Paris, France.
Péan was a French painter, poster artist and illustrator. He was a student of Jules Cheret and he created many posters for entertainment and leisure between 1895 and 1905.
