Vintage Regency Garden Tea Party Baby Shower Invitation

This garden tea party invitation for a baby shower with a vintage air has a round illustration of a tea party in a garden. The pretty young ladies sitting at the table, on the lawn, in front of the house, wear elegant regency gowns in pastel colours and drink tea from porcelain teacups. The vintage illustration of the garden party is by Kate Greenaway (1846-1901), illustrating her poem "The Tea Party" and it is now in the public domain. The arched text above the illustration is paraphrased after the beginning of that poem: "In the pleasant green Garden We sat down to tea"
