Vintage Nanny And Baby Notecard

This vintage nanny and her charge are straight out of Mary Poppins ... but are probably in a Newark NJ park. The photo was purchased with a lot of photos of a Newark NJ family (see other notecards in this gallery). The ca. 1890 photo shows us a sweet baby in a wicker baby carriage and the baby's nanny on the park bench, which is behind a wood-plank way for those long skirts to stay a bit clean when sitting down beside the dirt path.
