Vintage Mercury Glass Christmas Ball Mistletoe Paper Plate

Bring that extra touch of glamor to your Christmas party, I guarantee these little plates will get noticed by your guests. There are several ornament designs to choose from, mix and match them for fun….like on a Christmas tree. I have collected vintage mercury glass Christmas ornaments for many years and they are becoming very very scarce. So I thought it would be fun to share them with you. Each is carefully photographed and then the image has been added to ornaments, pillows, buttons, etc. It was a few years before I one day realized that this seemingly unusual image was actually 'Mistletoe'. The small roundish leaves with the white berries are of course unmistakable….once you know what you're looking at, chuckle. This is an example of Polish hand painting and wonderful ornament detailing. The pink is glossy, the silver matte and the mistletoe is hand painted and has wonderful vintage patina. A perfect image for the season, maybe use it as a kissing pillow instead of having a real plant since every time you kiss under the mistletoe you need to remove a berry till they are all gone…these will never be gone, hurrah! I will be putting up more ornaments as I get to them but the process is slow, please bear with me - I know you want a whole tree full - or in the case of pillows… a whole couch, or even a whole bed, full.
