Vintage Louis Wain Playing Truant Cat Art Card

This fun card for cat lovers features the wonderful, whimsical work of famous English feline artist Louis Wain. Called 'Playing Truant - No School Today,' it shows an illustration of a cute little brown tabby tucked up in bed pretending to be sick with the toothache to avoid going to school. He's wearing an enormous bandage round his head. On the bedside table are suitable treats for an invalid kitten - a tin of Mouse Sweets and Mouse Jam! The card would suit lots of occasions including a birthday, get well soon or just to say hi. It would be ideal to send to fans of vintage cat art, especially admirers of Wain. NB This is my revised version. Please do not pin or reproduce my painstakingly restored version without prior permission.
