Vintage Louis Wain Cat Pillow Fight Poster Print

This funny vintage cat poster features the wonderful, whimsical work of famous English cat artist Louis Wain. Over a dozen kittens at the boarding cat school are slugging it out with a pillow fight in the dormitory. One cats bawling his eyes out, another is hiding under the bed and a couple of kittens are having great fun pouring the contents of the water jugs over each other! On the wall are notices that say SILENCE and BE GOOD. Originally a black and white drawing, I've added colour to the cats' nightgowns. The art was commissioned by American printmakers Currier & Ives. The original image is courtesy of The Library of Congress Prints & Photographs Division, Washington D.C. The print would make the perfect gift for cat owners, cat lovers,admirers of Louis Wain and vintage cat art.
