Vintage Gold & Grey Floral Throw Pillow

This pretty Art Nouveau design is called “Kimberley” and was done in 1902 by Harry Napper. Napper was an important designer for the Silver Studio in England. The studio was founded by Arthur Silver in 1880. It became one of the most influential textile and wallpaper design studios in the UK between 1880 and the middle of the twentieth century. The Silver Studio is widely recognized as having played an important part in the development of British Art Nouveau. The studio produced several thousand designs for wallpapers, textiles and metalwork in the Art Nouveau style between 1895 and the early 1900s.
