Glass insulators are no longer manufactured. Some glass insulators are over 100 years old. Each one is unique. Glass insulators are relics of an old technology found mostly along old rail and abandoned telegraph lines; they have a historical significance to the telecom industry worldwide.
The oldest insulators pre-date the Civil War and were produced until the 1970's.
Glass Insulators as well as Porcelain Insulators come in many variations of colours. As well as made by a vast list of companies.
This bag represents a piece of the TELECOM Railroad History--displaying some beautiful pieces and many, not all, names of manufacturers. Unique gift for anyone who is a collector, a lineman & someone who appreciates the history behind them.

Upon opening, I found each coaster, which as designed to my liking, to be colorful, durable and perfect for my Sunday Brunch with my Sistah-Gals! The coasters matched our tie-dye theme to a T... Matched with our wine glasses and table settings... Great parting gift for the evening!

Vivid colors look great but any dampness at all makes them stick to glass then fall off when you least expect it. Look cheap. Great! Very bright ( don't match dull throw pillows ordered at same time)
