Vintage Frederic Bazille View of the Village Tile
Presenting a gorgeous print of 'View of the Village' a oil on canvas painting created in 1868 by Frederic Bazille (1841 – 1870). Bazille was a French impressionist painter and a close friend of Claude Monet and Edouard. He was only twenty-three years old when he painted several of his best-known works, including The Pink Dress which he painted in 1864 -- Bazille's best-known painting is Family Reunion. He died in the Franco-Prussian War of 1870.
