Vintage Early 20th Century Pattern Blue Green Gold
The image embellishing this product was designed by John Henry Dearle (1859-1932) in the early 20th century and produced by Morris & Co., a company owned by William Morris (1834-1896). Recognizing Dearle' talent, Morris took him on as an apprentice while he was still a teenager. Dearle would later rise to the position of chief textile designer at Morris and Co. It is said that some of the firm's most beautiful woven textiles were created under his leadership.
