Vintage illustration Merry Christmas holiday design featuring a page from the book Santa Claus and His Works. Published by McLoughlin Brothers in 1889. The story tells of Santa's work making toys for all the good little boys and girls around the world. This Victorian Era image shows an old, jolly Saint Nicholas at his workshop in the North Pole looking out over the horizon with a telescope. His pet dog is by his side while the sunrise is in the distance over the ocean with icebergs.
