Vintage Black Cat Cabaret T-Shirt
Our t shirt for cat lovers, cat owners and fans of Art Nouveau features possibly one of the most famous black cat paintings in the art world. Created by Swiss-born French Art Nouveau painter Theophile-Alexandre Steinlen in 1896 for his friend Rudolphe Salis's cabaret nightclub venue Le Chat Noir in Paris, the black cat from the poster stares out at you with his bright yellow eyes and bristling whiskers. We've added a striped halo of colour around the cat's head - glowing red, orange and green so that his face and eyes look almost lit from within.
