Vintage Bird Elizabeth Gwillim Bar-headed goose Tile
This product is adorned by the illustration of a beautiful bar-headed goose painted in 1801 by Lady Elizabeth Gwillim (1763 –1807), an English painter who painted birds as well as fishes and flowers. Gwillim sketched her subject through observation and has been applauded for accuracy and natural postures in her work. She is known for painting a series of nearly 200 watercolors of Indian birds.
