August Macke was a German expressionist painter and was one of the leading members of the German Expressionist group called The Blue Rider. Macke was born in Westphalia, Germany on January 3, 1887. Judging from the calibre of work he left behind we know he had a very promising art career. Sadly, his life and career were cut short during World War 1 when on September 26, 1914 he died at Champagne, France – he was only 27 years old.

I was given a small budget to decorate a free clinic. I ordered many of the posters from Zazzle because I could select various sizes that fit frames we could re-purpose. The quality of the printing is fine and there's a wide selection of subjects and styles to choose from. The paper quality on most of the items I ordered was decent. For some reason, though, the Ibis poster on "Perfect Poster (Glossy Finish)" is on very flimsy paper. It'll look fine when framed, but I would upgrade the paper choice if I did this over again. The image quality, colors, and printing quality were fine -exactly what I expected.

I love this calendar! The colors are rich and beautiful and the weight of the paper is perfect. It's not too thin. I hung it with a bit of double-sided tape and it lays flat to the wall. It looks great in my kitchen. It's perfect. The printing is bright and the colors are perfect.
