Vintage illustration celestial star chart map created by Nicholas de Fer (1646-1720) in 1705 featuring astrological signs of the zodiac and other figures from Greek mythology. A double hemisphere celestial chart, centered on the north and south poles showing the constellations according to classical mythology. Planisphere Celeste showing the constellations of the northern and southern night sky, planets (Mercury, Mars, Venus and Saturn), the phases of the moon and the sun. A mythological representation of our universe.

I purchased this to go inside the box lid of my granddaughter's Easter chest. I am doing a Mr. Peabody themed Easter egg hunt and have purchased historic artifacts from museum shops and want their Easter box to have a sort of time travel theme, so I went looking for a historical celestial map. Zazzle had several selections. (I purchased a different one for my grandson). I especially appreciated the ability on Zazzle to get a custom size. This will exactly fit inside the lid of the chest. The printing is crystal clear and the colors are wonderful. Zazzle's "value poster paper" doesn't look cheap at all. I purchased the poster in an 11.5 x 8" size, which was a very reasonable $10. Thanks Zazzle! I will happily continue to shop here!

The shipping was the problem. Box was flimsy and item got bent.. only suggestion would have been to put in a canister or mark fragile. Printing was exactly as shown
