Vintage artwork by Arthur John Elsley that depicts a laughing little girl in a meadow as she grabs up her startled terrier dog and holds the dog high over her shoulder keeping him away from a flock of free range chickens. The chickens scatter as if the dog may have been chasing them and the little girl has come to their rescue. The artwork is by Arthur John Elsley (1860-1952) who was famous for his paintings of children and their pets. Card is blank inside for your own message.
