Incorporated into this design is a beautiful print of "Apple Blossom, Primroses and Bird's Nest" a painting by the English painter George Clare (1835 - 1890) who was known for his work in fruit and flower painting. It is believed that Clare's work was influenced by fellow English still life painter William Henry Hunt (1790 - 1864) who earned special attention for the accuracy and fine details in his still life work
