Vintage American West, Overland Trail by Johnson

The Overland Trail (1926) by FT Johnson is a vintage fine art American West painting. These pioneers are travelling across the desert frontier of the old wild west. Covered wagons being driven by pioneer cowboys and pulled by long-horned cattle cows and oxen. About the artist: Frank Tenney Johnson (1874-1939) was a painter of the American West. He popularized a style of painting cowboys which became known as "The Johnson Moonlight Technique".
