Vintage 1920s Thinking of You Card
Are you thinking fondly of your "she'ses kneeses" -- or other memories of someone far away, or not so far away? The corny 1920 poem and sketch on this Thinking of You greeting card was scanned (and tweaked) from a 1920 college students' publication. The humorous poem on the front of the card says: "THOUGHTS OF THE HE'SES; Dear girl of the seases; Your two lovely kneeses; Exposed to the breezes; And minus chemises; Do certainly tease us. If a couple of sneezes; Assisted by breezes; Your costume decreases; That surely would please us; You said it -- by geezes!"
