This dramatic bright orange butterfly appears to be a Monarch Butterfly. The hand-drawn illustration comes from a vintage Victorian era collection of moths and butterflies of North America. The colour of the name on the mug coordinates with the charcoal black of the beautiful butterfly wings. These butterflies have kept their colours for 150 years. They can still brighten our mornings!
