"Air Force One" is the official air traffic control call sign for aircraft carrying the president of the United States. The "Air Force One" call sign was created in 1953, after a Lockheed Constellation named Columbine II carrying President Dwight D. Eisenhower entered the same airspace as a commercial airline flight using the same flight number. Since 1990, the presidential fleet has consisted of two Boeing VC-25As: highly customized Boeing 747-200B aircraft. I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
