Pink Peach Tree in Blossom (Reminiscence of Mauve) by Vincent van Gogh is a vintage fine art post impressionism landscape nature painting. A farm scene with a peach tree in an orchard with blooming flowers in spring. Also titled “Souvenir de Mauve” (Reminiscence of Mauve) was dedicated to the painter Anton Mauve. There are two hidden images, a lamb and a cat. The cat is clawing the head of the lamb. There is also hidden text “ US Fusing” indicating that the cat (Mauve) is merging with the mind of the lamb (Van Gogh). About the artist: Vincent Willem van Gogh (1853 -1890) was one of the most famous Post Impressionist painters of his era. His work was most notable for its rough beauty, emotional honesty, and bold color.

I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
